7.8 Hooks

• Answer Hook - STFax can launch an external ARexx script after a fax is received. Thus you can automatically print your faxes with the included fax2ps command or have an ARexx script that forwards them via EMail over internet or a local intranet, for instance.

• Voice Hook - As above, but it's executed after an user leaves a voice message.

• Ring Hook - This script will be executed when STFax detects the first ring of an incoming call. You can use here a script that uniconifies STFax, for example.

• Hang Up Hook - This one will be executed during the hang up.

• Prt Driver On/Off - Commands that STFax will execute when its Printer Driver is turned on or off. If you want to run an ARexx script for this events, enter "Rx yourscript".
